Chogyal Phagpa was the fifth patriarch of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. In the thirteenth century, he composed the treatise A Garland of Jewels for a Mongol prince in Kublai Khan’s court. This treatise is a concise manual about the entire Buddhist path and teaches us how to practice the Dharma in everyday life.
All are welcome to join this course. Although this course is free, donations are appreciated to help the center offer Dharma teachings.
Registered students will receive supplemental updates and course materials. Please provide your mailing address if you wish to receive a copy of the book Freeing the Heart and Mind Part Two, which includes the root text of A Garland of Jewels with a commentary by His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trichen.
