I prostrate, offer, and take refuge in the Lama, Guide, Blessed One, Tathagata, Victor Over Maras, Fully and Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni.

OM MUNE MUNE MAHAMUNAYE SVAHA (3, 7, or 21 times)
Aspiration
By the recitation of this mantra and the names of the Buddha, and by the great light of various wisdom rays from the body of the Buddha, may all obscurations of myself and all sentient beings be purified, the good qualities of the Mahayana vehicle rightly arise within the mind continuum, and the irreversible stage be attained.
Dedication
The intentions of the Bliss-Gone Ones, and their sons,
Their deeds, aspirations, compassion, and power,
And the illusory manifestation of their supreme wisdom,
May all sentient beings attain the very same state.
Whatever compassionate aspirations
The unsurpassable blessed Buddha Shakyamuni made
For the protectorless beings of this degenerate age,
May I and all other beings accomplish whatever he aspired.
In whatever way valiant Manjushri and Samantabhadra
Know how to transfer merit,
So do I dedicate all of my own virtues
That I might train to be like them.
