Losar, Tibetan New Year—Display of Miracles
You are invited to join us again for the Create a Bridge of Light to celebrate new year, pray for world peace and the benefit of all sentient beings.
With your donation to Minnesota Sakya Center at whatever level you choose, the following Bridge of Light will be established during the 2020 Losar celebrations at the following locations:
On February 24th, 2020 & Every Sunday during Losar Month at
SAKYA THUPTEN DARGYE LING, MINNESOTA
A lamp will be lit in the Minnesota Sakya Center, Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling during Purification Rituals and a Losar Celebration with Khenpo Thupten Gongphel and the Center Community on your behalf and for those for whom you have sponsored lamps.
and during Losar at
TSECHEN KUNCHAB LING, NEW YORK
Lamps also will be lit at Tsechen Kunchab Ling, Temple of All – Encompassing Great Compassion, and the Seat of His Holiness the Sakya Trizin in the United States. His Holiness the Sakya Trichen, Khenpo Kalsang Gyaltsen, and the Monastery Sangha will perform special rituals during Losar.

SAKYA CENTRE, DEHRADUN, INDIA
Additional butter lamps will be lit at Sakya Centre in India at Losar during the Month of Miracles. His Holiness the Sakya Trizin and the Monastery Sangha will perform special rituals during this time when, as Buddha states in the sutra, all merit (including the merit generated by each of your lamps) will multiply 100,000 times.
