Create A Bridge of Light

Dear Dharma friends,

You are respectfully invited to join us to create a bridge of light for the Tibetan new year (Losar) on February 10, 2024, which begins fifteen days of commemorating Buddha Shakyamuni’s display of miracles to inspire others to turn towards the Dharma.

This is an excellent time to accumulate merit, offer prayers and aspirations, and dedicate virtue for the benefit of all sentient beings.

With your donation to Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling, lamps will be lit during the month of Losar at the following locations on your behalf and for those for whom you have sponsored lamps:

SAKYA CENTRE, DEHRADUN, INDIA

Lamps will be lit at Sakya Centre, the main seat of the Sakya tradition in India. Prayers will be performed by His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trichen, His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra, His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra, and the monastery sangha.

TSECHEN KUNCHAB LING, NEW YORK

Lamps will also be lit at Tsechen Kunchab Ling, seat of the Sakya Dolma Phodrang in the Americas. Prayers will be performed by Khenpo Kalsang Gyaltsen and the resident sangha.

SAKYA THUPTEN DARGYE LING, MINNESOTA

Lamps will also be lit at Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling. Prayers will be performed by Khenpo Thupten Gongphel and our community.
